Application assistance

Our team of volunteers supports refugees in their search for a job or training position. After our advisors have clarified the residence and work permit requirements of the respective refugee, the team supports the specific search for a job or training position. Individual application documents are created - such as a cover letter, CV, a compilation of certificates and diplomas and a current photo. In addition, individual skills are discussed and, if there are deficits that make it difficult to find a job, concrete measures are suggested to remedy them. This mainly concerns the acquisition of the German language. For this purpose, contact is established with the measure providers and the Integration Point of the Mettmann district. Test job interviews are carried out to allay the fears of job candidates and to train them on how to present themselves in the best possible way. We also help with the recognition of foreign educational and/or professional certificates.
